Question - Do ClearCARE credits expire?
Answer - Any unused credits will roll over to the next year, provided the ClearCARE subscription is renewed.
Question - Do I need a ClearCARE subscription for every ClearOS system I register?
Answer - No. ClearCARE provides support for any number of systems registered back to a ClearSDN account that has a ClearCARE subscription.
Question - I've registered my ClearOS system using the ClearSDN Free service. Can I buy support credits to gain access to support services from ClearCenter?
Answer - To deliver support from ClearCenter's ClearCARE service, we require, as a minimum, that the system be registered to a ClearSDN Standard or Premium service level.
Question - What happens if my problem was a result of a bug in the software or service?
Answer - We will first thank you being an integral part of the Open Source Software process (finding and reporting a bug). We will then happily refund all credits associated with the support ticket. |
Question - Can I add individual services via my SDN account after the initial checkout?
Answer - Having users manage from their account the addition of individual services to a ClearSDN Standard/Premium subscription is not yet possible, but something that should be implemented in the first or second week of the new year.
Question - Can my ClearSDN account be set to associate with subaccounts, like "VAR" status in the old SDN?
Answer - An account enabled as "VAR" will have access to an extra "VAR" tab in their ClearSDN dashboard.

Question - How do I copy my old ClarkConnect SDN account to the new ClearCenter SDN?
Answer - Your ClarkConnect account was duplicated on the new ClearSDN at https://secure.clearcenter.com/portal/ but it is only capable of administering servers running ClearOS 5.1. You may need to perform server upgrades (at no additional cost) to ClearOS 5.1. More information.
Question - How do I transition my existing subscriptions to ClearCenter
Answer - If you would like to upgrade to ClearOS but still have time remaining on an existing ClarkConnect services/support subscription, we can help you with the transition. The basic steps are:

Question - What is ClearCenter - a software solution or a service?
Answer - ClearCenter utilizes ClearOS, which is available in two editions (or Operating Systems) solutions based on Linux. Every ClearOS installation is updated via ClearSDN, the service delivery platform that updates software and content using a subscription model, for example the content filter update is delivered via ClearSDN. Simple awnser ClearCenter primalry delivers a "service".
Question - What is a ClearSDN account?
Answer - Your ClearSDN account is a portal that allows you to register and manage the servers you install. A single ClearSDN account can have an unlimited number of servers registered to it. The account is also used for other services such as setting up DNS, registering a domain, managing licenses and purchasing software from the online store.
