"I have used it for years and it works!"
I've used ClearOS for years. I started off with Microsoft SBS and got tired of patching and praying that my gateway will not get hacked. Every release I've used has been stable for enough for production use and invisible enough for home use. I no longer worry about being hacked, since there is intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, and automatic updates. I really like one of the more recent features of automatic offsite backups, that really came in handy when our office was broke into. I started off using version 2 and I can't wait till 6 comes out. " STABLE AND EASILY CONFIGURABLE "
I have been using ClarkConnect and now ClearOS, for 4 years. I install for a server company and a vast majority of cybercafes. The stability of the system impressed me, I have almost never had a problem since the first installation. Their Open Source license management is one of rapid progress since the system changed its name to ClearOS. Configuration via webconfig is extremely easy which is a good breakthrough in linux server solutions. ClearCenter also provides Dynamic DNS features, which greatly facilitates to the management of the server that I handle. I used to use it for Dynamic VPN, Web server, FTP server and Mail server. It also does Multi-WAN. That is why it inspired me to establish the Community ClearOS Indonesia that will further introduce this system to the general public in Indonesia. You will not believe how quickly the development of our community is taking place. Thanks for this great product ClearCenter.

"We have used ClearOS (formerly known as ClarkConnect)as a simple web proxy here at my office for 8 months to keep employees from getting viruses and malware. It has really made my job easier. I went from at least 1 virus removal a month to none in the last 8 months. That speaks volumes for the quality of the product and the savings we have experienced in IT resources. All in all the package is very stable and has way more features than I have used so far."

"We've used and installed ClearOS (formerly known as ClarkConnect)since version 2.1 (~8 years?). Used it in many customer sites with VERY few problems. The support department has been quite helpful the few times we've needed them. One thing our clients love is that ClearOS has features generally available only on expensive (read multi-thousand) dollar appliances for only ~$80/year.
