ClearCenter's Remote Server Backup Service app provides secure, simple and reliable backups to the cloud. All data is encrypted, both in transit and on the storage clusters managed by ClearCenter. Simple, yet powerful, snapshots allow the administrator to control the retention period for all backups making this solution ideal for disaster recovery, failed hardware or user error (eg. deleted file). Algorithms provide efficiencies and optimizations to reduce bandwidth and storage space for data which has not changed or been added in previous snapshots. A survey of small-medium sized businesses (SMBs) found that 50% of companies had experienced data loss. Of those companies, approximately 33% lost sales, 20% lost customers and 25% claimed the data loss caused severe disruption to the organization.

Configuration Backup and Restore
The configuration backup and restore app allows an administrator to take a snapshot (archive file) of all configuration settings of the system, allowing easy restoration in the event data is lost. The backup file can be copied and stored to a desktop on the LAN, placed on a mass storage device (requiring modest space - under 1GB) or saved as part of the remote server backup solution (a paid remote backup solution available in the Marketplace from ClearCenter).
RBS - 5GB Cloud Storage
Additional 5GB storage space for ClearCenter's Remote Server Backup Service app.
RBS - 50GB Cloud Storage
Additional 50GB storage space for ClearCenter's Remote Server Backup Service app.

Google Apps Synchronization
Google Apps Synchronization app provides a connector to Google's "in the cloud" API. This app simplifies an administrators job by provisioning a Google App account while creating an on-premise user account in ClearOS. In addition, secure and transparent password synchronization enables the use of a single username/password pair to authenticate both Cloud-Based Google applications (including app in the Google Apps Marketplace supporting single-sign on) and ClearOS local resources.
Dynamic DNS is an app that works with ClearCenter's Service Delivery Network (SDN) to continually update a system's IP address to a static hostname (for example, myname.poweredbyclear.com). Many ISPs use dynamic IP addresses as a way of managing their network infrastructure and customer accounts, but this practice prevents the practical implementation of running services locally like mail (SMTP) or web (HTTP). In short, dynamic DNS provides an easily remembered and constantly updated hostname to access your system remotely. The service is free using a domain provided by ClearCenter. The use of your own domain is possible if your domain is subscribed to and using ClearCenter's domain and DNS services.
Account Synchronization provides the necessary tools to manage users, groups, passwords and other account information across distributed slave systems.
ClearCenter Remote System Monitor
The ClearCenter Remote System Monitor app checks processor utilization, hard disk and memory usage in addition to monitoring ports that should normally be available outside your network (eg. Mail, Web server, VPN etc.). The service checks the status of your gateway/server on a regular interval, pro-actively notifying you of problems before they become a network-wide problem.
A typical organization with 20 employees could lose upwards of $4,000 / year in lost productivity sifting through and filtering out spam that made it to their inboxes. This app ensures the antispam engine is kept up-to-date with the latest techniques used by spammers, reducing the amount of junk mail and providing a return on investment many times over. The ClearCenter Antispam Updates service provides daily signature updates in addition to those that are freely available from the community. These signatures are compiled from third party organizations as well as internal engineering resources from ClearCenter.
